Hi,

I just stumbled upon your blog and find it very insightful. Thank you. I am working with a group of people to build a maternal/child health care clinic in Braffoueby, Ivory Coast. We are well on our way to getting the building up but are struggling to put together our budget. We anticipate having about 500 births a year, and seeing a couple thousand people a year. How do I estimate how much ocytocin and pitocin I need? How many Parachecks I need for rapid testing of malaria? How much saline do I need? How did you prepare the nitty, gritty of your budget? Thanks!

Hello all of you! What an interesting site I found! I was in Kafountine in February for dancing and drumming. As being a midwife I visited the Poste de Santé and the Maternité and brought some sopplies. I was told that some midwifes from the US just had been there....must be you..
I come from Sweden and I don´t work with pregnancies and deliveries nowadays but with sexual and reproductive health in a wider range.
I found these blogs and photo albums so filled with love, warmth and respect. And so well known.
Thank you!

True use of natural resources. What are the families using for diapers? Is it cloth or possibly EC?

I hope this will happen again next year. I wanted to go this year wen I heard about it but a new baby (in my family) and finances did not permit me to participate.

Thank you for doing this. It feels good to know there are more of us sistas out there.
