Initiation Dance Weekly Practice
In Kafountine, the Initiation of boys and men who were not here for the last one ( in 1978) will be held in August. There will be a week long celebration with dancing, cermonies and celebration. Each Sunday the boys and men get together, supported by the singing and encouragement of the girls and women, to perfect ...the dance moves and to develop dance stamina. Gun powder is fired, bull horns are blown, the drums roll, and voices are raised hour after hour to encourage the participants to be thier best in August.
